It Was A Great Night...
Wow it was a great night! Went to Chinatown to enjoy the atmosphere with "J" yesterday night. We met at 4pm and realize the light up won't start till 7pm. Ended up sitting in Swensens at Chinatown Point to have ice-cream. Shared a Sizzling Apple Crumble Pie, not bad.
At around 6:15pm, we decided to go to the scene early so as to grab a good view. But we realized that the scene was already so crowded. And so unluckily, when we crossed the road and walked till the People's Park Center side, we realized that the stage was facing the other side of the road!?!? So we had to walked back all the way to Chinatown Point (cause that was the only shortest possible way due to the crowd and road blocks) and went down the street to arrive at the scene which was already crowded with aunties and uncles. These aunties and uncles made me really "du lan" when they try to squeeze infront of us. I mean, it's like everyone wants a good view, but since they arrive later, it didn't made sense to me that I should excuse them and let them through. Anyways, since they all old people, I didn't bother to argue.
What was funny was "J" was rather short and she wanted to take pictures of the stage event (her idol is LKY) but with her height and old camera which couldn't zoom far enough, we only managed to take miserable pictures (I admit I'm short too so those that I took were more or less 'sama sama'... lol).
We decided to leave the scene immediately after the light up (in order to avoid the crowd going home together later) and had dinner at PS foodcourt. After which we went to shop for CNY clothes. She couldn't get anything while I got a sweater unusable for CNY haha...
Had coffee at TCC outside PS and talked all the way till midnight. Lotsa laughter and funny stuff. It was a great and enjoyable day for me. Hope she enjoyed as well :P
Doesn't this sound like some old secondary school composition? Lol... ...
